Key Feature – Safety Zone Function

1.Collision Protection Overview:

The safety zone function is primarily designed to prevent machine collisions.

During axis movement, the system automatically detects the safety zone position in real time.

Setting the Collision Protection Zone:

Users can set safety boundaries based on the actual position of the tool and workpiece.

Provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface for easy configuration.

Automatic Detection and Prompt:

The system monitors axis movement in real time and issues warnings when the movement exceeds the safety zone.

2. Servo Tailstock

Limitations of Traditional Hydraulic Tailstocks:

The clamping position cannot be freely defined through programming.

The clamping torque is not adjustable.

Advantages of Programmable Servo Tailstocks:
a. The clamping position can be freely defined via programming, and the clamping torque can be set using segmented torque commands.
b. Better suited for the demands of modern manufacturing, improving both production efficiency and product quality. (Note: Requires integration with FINGER CNC servo system.)

3. High-Speed, High-Precision Mode

JERK Explanation

Post-JERK Mode:
During acceleration and deceleration phases, acceleration is applied instantaneously. When acceleration is high, this can cause significant impact to the machine, resulting in unstable axial movement. (As shown in blue – without JERK function)

Pre-JERK Mode:
During acceleration and deceleration phases, acceleration changes linearly. Even when acceleration is high, the JERK function ensures smooth axial movement and helps eliminate lathe vibrations. (As shown in red – with JERK function)

As illustrated in the diagram:

To accelerate to V1, the time required in both modes is T (or T1).

However, when accelerating to V0, the Post-JERK mode still requires T1, while the Pre-JERK mode only requires T0.

In Post-JERK deceleration mode, the time T remains constant regardless of the speed V.

In contrast, in Pre-JERK deceleration mode, the time changes linearly with the speed V.
